Audra - Director of Culture

Audra, Director of Culture

My name is Audra, and I am the director of culture.

I began my career at Crystal D in 2002 as the Marketing Director. However, I've been with the company in one way or another since Chuck and Jeanne purchased it in 1993. As a child of entrepreneurs, I spent my weekends helping at the office and preparing products to be shipped out to customers. However, the most important contribution I made during those early days was with the original group of Memory Makers who helped define our core purpose and core values.

When I had my own children, I began working part time at Crystal D in a Marketing Coordinator role, where I focused on public relations and our blog. After Chuck passed away in 2022, I moved into my current leadership role. As the Director of Culture, I head Human Resources, Internal Marketing and Learning & Development. Chuck held great passion for these three areas of our business, and my goal is to help his vision live on and grow so more people can experience “The WOW Effect.” ™

I love spending time with my husband, taking trips with my family in the camper, watching all my kids’ activities, and being an active part of my nieces’ and nephews’ lives. As a mom to a big family, I can put together an Instacart order in just minutes!

Something Surprising: I was born premature, I'm the oldest of three girls, and I'm named after an actress from the old “Wild West”-inspired TV show, “The Big Valley.” However, I have never watched an episode of it!

Favorite Award: I love the Genesis Award because it was one of our very first “exclusively ours” awards. Its design, size, and the statement it makes are timeless. Everyone who sees it says, “WOW” – and I do, too!
