Kyle – Director of Operations.

My name is Kyle, and I’m the Director of Operations.

I grew up in Barron, Wisconsin, and joined Crystal D in fall 2013 when I was a temp hire as a production artist with experience in 3D modeling. This led to me being hired full time and eventually building and leading the 3D subsurface department. A short time later, I became responsible for production as well. I really like the people here. We have some very smart and hardworking folks that are all focused and moving in the same direction to hit our goals.

Outside of Crystal D, I enjoy my work at home. My wife and I are renovating an old 1880s farmhouse on our little hobby farm. We have two dogs and some chickens. I enjoy family time and any opportunity to get out on the water for some R&R.

Something Surprising: I’m a jack of all trades. I can build a house from the ground up, do all my own auto mechanics, paint a picture, design a logo, and cut my own hair.

Favorite Award: My favorite award is the Barrington Award It is one of our biggest pieces, and when you see it, it is impressive — especially when you pick it up!
